International Family Planning Leadership Program (IFPLP)

Since 1999, the Bay Area International Group has been actively involved in the IFPLP, a three year program organized through the Public Health Institute (PHI) with funding support from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It is designed to expand upon previous programs by identifying existing leaders in family planning and reproductive health in Ethiopia, Nigeria, Pakistan and the Philippines. The goal of IFPLP is to assist these countries’ family planning professionals in increasing their leadership skills and capacity. These skills will sustain them as they rise to higher levels of responsibility in their countries.
